A Mermaid Named Sandy

Surf Taco has been a long time client of ours. When they wanted to continue to build their brand with a commercial, we were thrilled. When they wanted it to involve mermaids, magic nachos, and pirates, we knew this was going to be something special.

What We Did

We created a fantasy world using a green screen to convey the feeling of an escape to the Jersey Shore anytime you are chowing down at Surf Taco. Shot by Mitch Martinez, Directed/Edited by Peter J. Normandia, Color, Sound & Special FX by Chris Perilli.

‘Just Me’ by YaSin & Frank G

The Ish Productions, a full service music company
specializing in quality song composition and recording, needed an enticing music video on a low budget to help promote their 5 song Digital Download compilation coming out in a few weeks. We grabbed the RED ONE, drove down to Freehold, NJ, and went at it!

What We Did

We shot a bunch of run and gun style performance shots mixed with a little documentary style broll, to capture the essence of the song ‘Just Me’. Here’s Ish’s take on the experience. Elite Technical Martial Arts

Elite Martial Arts Academy hired us to make a 30 second spot to run on Spike TV during ‘The Ultimate Fighter’®. Shot by Mitch Martinez of Stamphill Productions, we warped time to emphasize the sport’s beauty and deliver a striking commercial worthy of Elite Martial Artist.

What We Did

The owner of EBJJ needed a 30 second spot to run on Spike TV during ‘The Ultimate Fighter’® emphasizing their versatile workouts. Shot by Mitch Martinez of Stamphill Productions, we used a dolly to capture the grace of each training sequence at a high speed pace.

Train to be a Champion

Advanced Martial Arts is a long time client of ours, and Pete’s Jiu Jitsu school. We created this with pro MMA Champions Ricardo Romero and Jay McClean of Advanced. The concept was to show the art side of Martial Arts, and the beauty that results from training.

What We Did

Italian Seafood Masterpiece

Christie’s Restaurant is a mouth watering Italian Seafood grill located in the suburb Howell, NJ. A fine dining establishment, they came to us in need of an updated website with an appealing design and the ability to quickly change prices as the market shifts.

What We Did

We custom designed a custom template we have built. The standout feature, besides the elegant design to match the restaurant’s decor, is the menu slider. This gives a user the ability to easily sort through the multiple mouth watering options Christie offers on their three menus.

We took original, high resolution photos of the decor in order to properly brand the site to match the interior design of the restaurant. You will notice every element in the design comes from the restaurant itself. In fact, we probably should have went back a few more times just to grab some more ‘case studies’ of the exquisite food.

Hair Unity

Connecting the Hair Industry

We love ambitious ideas and this fit the bill. Hair Unity is a social network, similar to facebook, but targeted to those in, or involved in, the hair industry. The concept was to provide a central hub for all things hair, and build a social network around it.

What We Did

We designed a fresh, clean look for the web. Built on Buddypress, the website features extended functionality such as the job board, as well as a video player highlighting recent events. Our branding also included Flyers to be handed out at tradeshows.

In addition to just creating the brand off the original concept, we also have helped play a pivotal role in jump starting the site by heading a small social media campaign, and formatting valuable content. From the original print flyers, to the twitter presence, to the informational content, Hair Unity is slowing expanding its reach each and every day.

Justin’s Barbershop

Fresssshhhh…

Justin’s Barbershop needed us to create a 30 second visual ad, that is being delivered on a silent digital sign. The camera work is incredible.

What We Did

We produced, directed and shot a 30 second silent ad for a digital signage loop. The concept was to convey the fresh, clean feeling after a good hair cut. We used the HVX 200, 720p 24p, standard lens, and mostly 60 fps. Shot by Stamphill.

Justin’s Barbershop is a barbershop that prides itself on good hair cuts and quality personal relationships. Upon entering the newest shop, you can sense the old time barbershops that molded this business. Yet, with all of the new TVs, leather chairs, shiny mirrors, and polished wood floors, you can tell it was built for today’s world.

Our goal was to convey the classic barbershop feel with the visual style of today’s generation. One thing is for sure. After editing this, we all have been craving a fresh cut. Guess it’s time to hop over to Justin’s.

A Tribute to Michael Jackson…

Fallout Shelter records recently released a Michael Jackson tribute album. This video is for the final song on that compilation, by emerging underground hip hop artist Cise da Con from BX, NY. Shot so effectively by Mitch Martinez of Stamphill Productions, that the video shots are worth pausing once in awhile.

What We Did

Concept & Production by Pixel Mobb & Fallout Shelter. Directed and Edited by Peter J. Normandia. Shot by Mitch Martinez. Color Correction, FX, and Sound Editing by Chris Perilli. We took the energy of an emerging underground artist and bottled it up into a high voltage visual overload.
